at Visionary Centre for the Performing Arts

Josie

Musical Theatre, Acting, & Voice

From the moment Josie could walk, she was immersed in the world of dance and musical theatre, beginning her journey at just 18 months old at her grandmothers dance studio. Growing up in a family of passionate dancers, and musicians her mom and grandmother nurtured her love for performing. Josie’s training continued at Victoria School of Performing Arts, where she honed her skills in acting, dance, musical theatre, and voice throughout her elementary, junior high and high school years.

Josie then took her passion to the next level by completing her post-secondary musical theatre
training at the renowned Randolph College for the Performing Arts in Toronto. After graduating, she performed on stages across Canada, showcasing her talent in numerous productions.

A true lifelong learner, Josie has been teaching and choreographing since the age of 16, sharing her wealth of knowledge and passion with aspiring artists. Today, she is excited to bring her dedication and love for teaching to life every day by continuing to inspire the next generation of performers at Visionary Centre for Performing Arts.

Gunho

Musical Theatre & Acting

Gunho has been working professionally as a music theatre performer, writer, and director since 2017. He has graduated from Sheridan College with a Bachelor's in Music Theatre Performance and from Wilfrid Laurier University's Master of Arts in Community Music program.

He has performed across Canada and has recently relocated to Edmonton to pursue a career in teaching. Although Gunho still performs and lives to be onstage, he has found a desire to give young artists the spark to believe in themselves and be the best performer they can be, much like the one that was given to him when he was younger.

Taylor

Dance & Voice

After beginning her VCPA journey at 12 months old, Taylor has always known performing was her passion. Taylor studied piano, guitar, and voice for many years before adding dance into the mix at the age of 10; focusing on intensive hip-hop, jazz, and lyrical.

Taylor first discovered her love of teaching through dance, and began student teaching at the age of 12.

She has traveled throughout North America for various performing opportunities such as high profile showcases, festivals, auditions and recording sessions. Taylor feels at home on the stage, and loves to help others seize the moment, and enjoy their performance to the fullest! She is thrilled to be able to inspire a new generation of performers back where her story began.
