Visionary Centre for the Performing Arts offers private music lessons from some of the Edmonton area's finest teachers. Our scheduling is flexible and available 7 days a week, with lesson durations available in half hour, 45 minute, and one hour lengths.

VCPA offers the ability to take lessons with our incredible instructors from anywhere you might happen to be! Private lessons are available in-person with most of our instructors at both locations, and all instructors offer the option of taking lessons online, just let us know at time of registration which works best for you.

- Does my child need previous experience?
No! We have programs for complete beginners through advanced students. - What age can my child start?
Our programs start as early as infancy, with age-specific options throughout childhood and adolescence. We also offer private lessons for adults and seniors. - Do you offer trial lessons?
Yes! Trial lessons (15 minutes) are available for private music lessons, subject to teacher availability. We also offer drop-in lessons in half-hour, 45-minute, and hour long durations. - How much are lessons?
Private lesson pricing varies by lesson length and instructor experience. Our current 2026 rates begin at $130/ for 30-minute lessons at 4 lessons per month based on a pre-authorized agreement through to the month of June. - Which location should we choose?
The one closest to home is always ideal! We have two locations in the Edmonton area. Our north location in St. Albert at #30 580 St. Albert Trail serves St. Albert, North Edmonton, Morinville, Sturgeon County and more. Our south location at 2804 Calgary Trail NW in Edmonton serves South Edmonton, Leduc, Beaumont, Nisku, Sherwood Park, and Devon. - What if I don't know which program is right?
Let us help you choose. Call and connect and we are always happy to provide advice on where to take your musical journey. - What if we decide to quit lessons?
Our withdrawal policy is straight forward for monthly lessons – Just let us know by the 15th of the month prior to when you would like to withdraw.
So for example, if you wish to discontinue for the month of January – let us know by December 15th at the latest.

Private lessons are based on teacher experience and length of the lesson. We offer half hour, 45 minute, and 1 hour lessons. We accept pre-authorized payments by Visa, Mastercard, and Direct Debit. Teacher schedules and availability are subject to change and private lesson spots can not be held without payment. |
